It has a balancing effect on the emotions, and its uplifting fragrance brightens dark moods, boosts confidence and balances emotions.

What does Grapefruit oil smell like?

Grapefruit essential oil has a citrusy, fresh, sweet and tangy fragrance, reminiscent of the fruit itself. The fragrance is mildly euphoric and has an uplifting effect on the body and mind.

Where does Grapefruit oil originate from?

Native to Barbados, this bitter citrus fruit is produced by the subtropical, evergreen citrus tree, Citrus paradis/grandis, and is a cross between the sweet orange and pomelo. The tree grows beautiful white, fragrant flowers which develop into the fruits. Grapefruit essential oil is extracted from the grapefruit rind by cold expression.
